Choreographic Experience


2004 ‘Nova Normaal’ – An exhilarating and high energy dance work about finding “new normals” in life. Co-choreographed with Jazzart company member Levern Botha, on Jazzart trainees; performed at JDT’s annual youth platform, Danscape.


2006 ‘Hajji’ Co-choreographed with Jazzart choreographer John Linden on Jazzart trainees; performed at JDT’s annual youth platform, Danscape.

2006                      A Commisioned work for the Baxter Dance Festival,
‘Finding Neverland’ was a gentle but, powerful 20min dance work, which included six of JDT’s dance company members. This work highlights subtly, the childhood fantasies within all human beings and depicting the beauty therein.  

2003 – 2008 ‘Desert Rose’ A dance work set on four athletic male bodies, opposed by the soulful music by Sting, this work has travelled through the likes of Jazzart’s annual Studio Concert, where it premiered; JDT’s WCED Annual School’s programme and WC’s Schools’ festival; and many other big Corporate events, hich were performed in venues such as: The Mount Nelson Hotel, The V&A Waterfront and Cape Town’s CTICC.


2008 Assisted Celeste Botha in choreographing three pieces for Nigel Lithgow’s ‘So do you think you can dance’ South Africa.

2009- Choreographed a contemporary piece for Inspirations Dance Company, Passing Thru for Baxter Dance Festival.

2010- Choreographed Scars for Celeste Botha and Megan Erasmus.
