Marlin has taught at various dance Institutions and workshops around South Africa and Seychelles. Two years ago Marlin, Celeste Botha and Megan Erasmus opened up their own dance school called 'The Dancer Inside'. A new branch is opening up in Johannesburg under the directorship of Marlin and Megan and the one in Cape Town is run by Celeste Botha.

Marlin has directed the last performance of SCARS performed at the Suidoosterfees January 2011 at the Artscape Arena theatre in Cape Town.
